My Approach to Coaching

As your coach, I do not solve your problems. I help you see problems for what they are, help you explore issues further, and ultimately I help you to discover solutions that fit for you. I provide the tools and resources you need to realize your goals. The key to successful coaching is increased productivity, quality, work relationships, and job satisfaction through increased people skills.

Customized Coaching

Coaching sessions are typically held in person on a weekly basis. Other arrangements may be considered depending on your schedule and needs. Sessions usually last approximately one hour and after each session you have access to unlimited email. You are always in control of how often we meet. All appointments are pre-booked either at a specific time each week or times may change based on your schedule. To successfully partner with a client to work through problems or issues, a minimum of three sessions is necessary.

"Just In Time" Coaching

"Just In Time" Coaching is also available by telephone for existing clients. These sessions provide quick, focused, and short-term support (20-30 minutes). "Just In Time" Coaching allows you to get coaching for those problems or issues that occur at the last minute. It could be right before an important meeting with your boss or an important presentation. Or, it could just be something that you need to talk about right away.

The relatively new profession of coaching is beginning to get widespread acceptance; however, you may not be familiar with the coaching process. In addition, you do not know me and do not know if we will work well together. Therefore, I offer a free 30-minute assessment to "jump start" your coaching experience.
